In the cyber monday sales back in november/december dunno when was... a while ago though i ordered some stuff from the lime crime website. I ordered the eyeshadow primer, the lilac lipstick and the eyeshadow pigment in empress. I think they had 30% off so the lipsticks worked to like $10? I cant remember but were reasonable otherwise bit to pricey for me plus postage.
Pretty packaging!
Pretty postcard it came with.
Also a pretty sticker!
And the goodies
Pretty unicorns!!
OK, what do I think...
I love the packaging the package came in, I liked how their purple theme ran from the packaging to the actual packaging of the products. Ok so maybe I also bought this stuff because I love purple and cutesey. I thought the sticker and postcard of their carousel glosses was a nice touch. The package didnt take long to arrive, I think a week or so, and thats to Australia!!! Quick!
Lipstick: The colour of the lipstick i love, its so unique and so me. The packaging is very sturdy plastic and with a unicorn! the lipstick itself is very very moisturising but thats why its also bad. It pretty much melted and broke in the Brisbane weather. I may have pressed down a little to hard on the lipstick and the base broke and is now tilted to one side.... sigh. I think this may have been because a combination of heat and the lipstick being to soft... I find that I have to put at least 2 to 3 swipes of th lipstick for it to completely cover my lips otherwise it is quite streaky. You just cant have streaky purple lipstick otherwise you will see the lips underneath. It looks odd otherwise. Once applied properly though it looks beautfiul! I got so many compliments that my lips looked so moisturised as well as purple. I did love that it was moistursing (apart from it breaking/soft) because once on it lasted me at least 3 to 4 hourse (without eating.) It does not leave a stain though otherwise that could also look odd haha.
Would I repurchase this: Yes, but leave it in a cooler place or only use in winter. Brisbane summer is way to hot for it. Also want to try other colours.
Eyeshadow primer:
This primer comes in an adorable pastel green screw top jar? The product itself is a pale creamy beige. you have to swipe your finger/or brush on the palette. This means it could get grotty but eh, Ill be allright but it also means I can get all the product out!!! ho ho ho.
The consistency is like a cream eyeshadow, quite soft though but quite moisturising. I find that it gives quite a nice base to work with. Suits my colouring well. I wait a couple of minutes before I apply shadows though. I find that it doesnt blend well with fingers though but does allright when using brushes. Odd yeah? but I have had no problems with creasing!!!! even with the cheaper eyeshadows. I enjoy this. But then this is why I bought it...
Would I repurchase this: yes, but it may be a long long time away. and I also want to try other eyeshadow primer products.
The lipstick swatch and empress swatch
Eyeshadow pigment: Empress
Ok so I chose the wrong eyeshadow... I read reviews after I got this (why didnt I do this before!!!) but apparently this was is one of the worst eyeshadows they have because it does not have very good pigmentation. :( you can see from the photo. It has alot of fallout. I love the colour and the sturdy container but alas the pigmentation is not that great! Read a great review here: Dark side of beauty now I want some dragon scales and medusa (knew I should have picked medusa dammit) but I also want to try the fyrinnae eyeshadows (when the site lets me order!!!) they look amazing, look here: fyrinnae
.
Woulld I repurchase: Yes but different colours, namely dragon scales and medusa...

reviews
Sorry not updating for awhile, but on saturday night im going to movieworld fright night so hopefully im going to take tonnes of photots.
Atm im on the lookout for a perfect moisturiser which is quite difficult because ive got really sensitive dry skin so I get painy on my skin when I use moisturiser. So if you have a recommendation please speak up. Ive been really into beauty blogs lately so youll have to suffer but to have a flawless skin for gal you need to have nice skin. So reviews now:
Clinique rinse off makeup solvent:
Clinique says: "Unique formula quickly removes all eye makeup, from lashes to brows. Perfect for quick makeup changes, touchups, repairs. Cleans eye area easily without disturbing other makeup. No rubbing necessary. Oil-free, blur-free, sting-free. Ophthalmologist Tested."
What I think:
My mum uses clinque and so gets gifts with purchase and I like to use them ;p so Ive been using this eye makeup remover sample for about a year on off I think, its lasting well but I am not really a fan as i put on about 50c size amount on cottonwool pad and i find that if im wearing a lot of eyemakup it just smudges it and I look like panda, a crying one.
I really have to work hard on getting rid of the waterproof mascara off lashes and I find if I rub to much then my eyes feel sore, as they are also sensitive. It does not remove everything unless im scrubbing for ages. It does get rid of eyeshadows well but waterproof mascara/eyeliner not so well.
Would I repurchase: no, not for that price, nor would I repurchase because I think it doesnt take off the mascara well enough and it makes my eyes sore even though says sting free, hmmpf.
Clinique liquid facial soap:
Clinique says: "The first step in Clinique's 3-Step Skin Care System. All the benefits of Clinique's dermatologist-developed Facial Soap in a liquid formula. Cleanses without stripping protective lipids. Preps skin for the exfoliating action of Clarifying Lotion. Convenient pump dispenses just the right amount"
In 3 skin-typed formulas:
Extra Mild - Very Dry skin
Mild - Normal to Dry skin
Oily - Normal to Oily skin
$29.00
What I think: I have the mild version in a sample tube so I dont get the pump amount but it has lasted me a year on off as well so far and I dont mind it. I use a small squirt but I find it doesnt foam or lather very well unless I use a fingernail amount of product, so lately ive been doing that as I wanna use this tube up. If you put a fingernail amount it works well and I feel like I have a nice clean face, not that stripped of moisture feeling but nice and clean. I actually dont mind this cleanser.
Would I repurchase it: maybe but Ive got other cleansers I want to try out and yet again I dont really want to pay $29, but I like that it doesnt irritate my sensitive skin. So maybe, one day if I dont find something I like better.
Clinique 7 day scrub cream rinse-off formula
Clinique says: "Nudges away roughness, flakiness to refine skin. Helps lessen the appearance of fine lines. Clears the way for moisture. Suitable for all skin types"
100ml $47.00
What I think: Yet again I got a sample size tube which been using same as above products. I use this product like twice a week since Ive got sensitive skin and scrubs are quite harsh on my skin. I do like this one though as the beads are less harsh than other scrubs and so tiny. In most scrubs the exfoliating beads/grains whatever are quite large like coarse sand but this scrub they are like third of the size. I like that as its less irritable on my skin. I dont think ive noticed a huge improvement in the removal of my dry skin flakes though... as I have dry patches around mouth, chin, edges of faces and I havent noticed much improvement... It also leaves a milky finish on skin after ive finished using it, tiss odd but I dont mind.
Would I repurchase it: probably not as I haven really noticed a difference in the amount of dry skin on my face. I like that its good for my sensitive skin but I wish it would remove dry skin. Plus $47... ouchhhh
Ok thats reviews for now. Hopefully will have more reviews soon. Keep an eye out

Reviews: Rimmel royal gloss and BYS animal instincts eyeshadow
Ok these are my first reviews, I shall be reviewing the lip gloss and eyeshadow pallet in last post.
First up:
Rimmel royal gloss in 101 candy bar in a 14ml tube.
I bought this as was $3 at Coles and I love lip glosses.
Packaging: Tube is pretty cute with the crown and the pinkness. But otherwise the package is eh.
It says non sticky and it isnt.
Longevity: I had this on for about couple of hours and drank and was quite good for a while but then the glossyiness went away and was left with a thin moisture cover.
Colour: Its like a pale pink, like candy in the tube and comes out quite pale pink on lips. This is on my arm.
Smell: It smells nice, like jelly beans so thats a plus and theres a little bit of tingling on lips for couple seconds, which is odd but I notice lots of glosses do this, maybe this is like plumping?
Would Iget this again: Most likely, im quite a bargain hunter and tend to get things when theyre on sale unless I really like it so this would be one of those products which I would get if on sale again but otherwise yes I would.
Its not sticky, its lightweight, smells great, makes lips look kissable and add a pretty shine.
Next up is BYS animal instincts eyeshadow quad.
I call this the zebra one and there is also a leopard one with golds and browns which im defs getting next.
I do love BYS eyeshadows, there so pigmented and bright and yeah, I use them a lot. I got this one for $5 at cosmetics plus.
Packaging: the packaging is minimal but I dont mind, as im not going to pull it out and go wow look at my eyeshadow hahah. it fits into the palm of my hand and compact and perfect for my makeup bag and comes with eyeshadow applicator, not that i will use it...
Ok for colours: Black (a) is first then dark blue (b), then zebra with grey (c) and lastly zebra with white stripes (d)

Colours: In this quad there is a very black metallic (a) which is the blackest eyeshadow I now own, its great! Majority of black eyeshadows I own are more grey but this is black black and slighly metallic, next to it is a white/black (d) shade and when used is like a light silvery grey, above is a metallic navy blue (b) which is lovely! and last is grey/black (c) which comes out a lovely silvery metallic darker grey. I love the colours and the pigmention, it just doesnt show well on my arms as I have big pores but lovely on the eyes.
d, c, b, a.
The lighting does not do it justice, aka the colours look brown... wtf
Yeah the lighting is odd but in reality the greys are beautiful silvers, the metallic navy blue is navy blue and the black is black!
Longevity: I think this eyeshadows last quite a while and even longer with primers. Easily lasting a day at work!
Would I buy this again: Hells yeah!!! great price, great pigmentation, beautiful colours, pretty patterns and yeah. I have a feeling these wont be around for long so I should probs buy another, hahaha.
